Putty Squad is a side-scrolling platformer that was developed by System 3 and initially slated for a 1994 release on multiple platforms but experienced delays and cancellations. It eventually saw a release in November 2013 for the PlayStation Vita, among other platforms. In the game, players control Putty, a flexible blue blob, who embarks on a mission to rescue his imprisoned putty friends. The game is known for its colorful graphics, and puzzle-platform gameplay, where Putty can stretch, inflate, morph, and absorb items. As a reimagined version of the original Putty game from the early 90s, Putty Squad offers nostalgic gameplay with modernized visuals and mechanics.
